What a great OpenTable find! The food was delicious; the wine was excellent and reasonable; and the service was outstanding. My wife and I shared the wedge salad (done with a creamy buttermilk dressing, smoky lardons, and confit cherry tomatoes - delicous), the duck rillettes (great flavor and texture and served with house-pickled sliced beets which perfectly cut the fat), and the rib eye (delicious wood smoked flavor). We'll be sure to go back when we're next in Lake Charles.

Some of the BEST food we have had in a while! (And we’re from New Orleans,lol.) From our server to Wade the manager, the people were outstanding. You MUST get the sweetbreads on mushroom risotto if it’s on the menu! I wanted to get a second order of that it was so incredible. The brussel sprouts also stood out. And order as many cocktails as you can handle, as those were all excellent, also. I will go back to Lake Charles specifically to eat again at Calla. Well done, y’all!
