   I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. The food and service were excellent and it was a highlight of our time in Berlin. Overall tremendous experience.

   You should absolutely visit this restaurant during your visit to Berlin. All types of meat (duck, venison, and veal) were perfectly prepared and worth to try. I would definitely eat here again. Additionally, reservation was easy and quick.

   Great atmosphere in a restaurant located in a quiet neighborhood off the beaten path in Berlin. The menu offers a range of Berlin classic dishes and an excellent selection of beers and local wine. The host and our waiter could not have been more welcoming or helpful to us despite our not knowing any German.

   An der Stelle wo wir gesessen haben kam immer mal wieder eine Abfluss-Fahne aus dem hinteren Bereich zu uns rübergezogen. Uns zugeteiltes Personal war etwas staaksig, fast unbeholfen.

   Excellent, hearty food, exactly what we came for, in a fun, lively beer hall ambience. Only let down by service which was disappointing; there was confusion over our order which meant that only one starter arrived, and by the time the waiter came to check, it was too late to be worth having it so we cancelled it. Then after our main courses were cleared, the waiter just completely disappeared for twenty minutes; eventually we flagged down one of the waiters from another section and ordered the flambé pancakes for two, which our original waiter returned to prepare tableside and were amazing! We would return as the food, ambience and value were great, and we can hope that the poor service we received was a one-off.

   Very nice people. They were extremely welcoming to us a foreigners who did not speak German. Food was ok—nothing special but fresh.

   Unsere Bedienung hat sich sehr bemüht. Man hat nur leider das Gefühl gehabt schnell abgefertigt zu werden. Ein bisschen zurückhaltender wäre besser gewesen. Essen war wie immer lecker. Die Lautstärke war diesmal sehr laut da an den Nachbartischen Größere Gruppen saßen. Wir kommen aber gerne wieder und freuen uns schon wenn der Garten wieder offen ist.
