Restaurant Olivia is a pasta-focused restaurant located in Denver’s Wash Park neighborhood. Olivia is the second project from chef Ty Leon, beverage guru Austin Carson, and hospitality maven Heather Morrison.

Each evening we open the doors to our restaurant as if it were our home, welcoming guests with warmth and graciousness. We believe you’ll feel our attention to hospitality the minute you step inside.

We draw inspiration from classic Italian dishes and the traditions that bring them to life, but we also feature flavors and recipes from around the world. Our food is made with care and intention. We source our ingredients from organic and local producers whenever possible. Our beverage program features expertly-crafted but playful cocktails, alongside an Italian-focused wine list.

We look forward to sharing with you our passion for outstanding food and service.

We have had the luxury of dining here on three different occasions. Twice before the remodel and again yesterday evening after the remodel. While I am happy for them they have been able to expand. The two areas have a completely different feel. We were seated in the newer area on the outside wall. What is a soft, warm, welcoming feeling in the original area due to lighting, the new area has a very different feel. WAY too bright and almost felt like we were under a spot light. To the point it lead to an exposed and uncomfortable feeling, not intimate at all. Lighting is so key for creating an ambiance, unfortunately this seemed like a miss. Now the service - outstanding. Staff bends over backwards to make you feel welcome and are exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. The food for the majority of the meal was also excellent. We did the tasting menu with wine pairing. Staff suggested ordering all the pasta options and sharing. Every single pasta was delicious. Unfortunately the bison course at the end was so salty, we couldn’t finish it. But will say the wine pairing topped off the experience and would highly recommend ordering. We would come back and dine again, just would ask to please be in the original space.

This is a cute place on the way to a Michelin but the food could have been better and the martini class could have been cold.

We ordered a Thanksgiving meal to go from this restaurant, the first time ever eating from this restaurant. We ordered the large lasagna and four salads. The “lasagna“ Was fairly inedible. Online, this restaurant posted about their homemade noodles, When in fact, these were not noodles at all. They were obviously a wheat tortilla, and when this “lasagna” was heated up, It made this tort mess, gummy, and very glutenous. There was barely any meat Bolognese In this whole dish, but there was a lot of cheese. This tasted more like a Mexican dish with very little flavor. It was horrible and a huge disappointment, especially for Thanksgiving meal. The price paid for this “lasagna” was way beyond what it was worth and a huge waste of money. The salads, however, were good, but not near the size they should have been for $15 each. The very small piece of cheesecake was good Overall, this was a huge disappointing meal that we were looking forward to eating. We had to throw out the rest of the “lasagna.”

The Tagliatelle was boring and bland according to the guests who ordered it. Too loud.

This is my 2nd visit this year. No change in service quality and food selection after being recommended by Michelin. My server, Greg B was attentive and gave me time to decide my choices. I started with a Pear Old Fashioned. Wonderful cocktail. Next was their Chopped salad with Foccacia bread and a globe of burrata. Creamy cheese and freshly baked foccacia. I added a glass of white wine from Sicily. My pasta was the Tagiatelle Bolognese. Lots of pasta. I added a glass of Italian Chianti Classico. I was full and declined dessert, but Greg B gave me a complimentary 2 oz pour of Cinzano Amaro from the 1970's. A wonderful meal.

We had an incredible experience at Olivia! They were so gracious and welcoming on our first date out with our newborn baby! The food was exceptional with great attention to my gluten allergy. I can’t wait to go back!
