A British Tasting Menu experience for Dinner, and shorter Set Menu for Lunch - tucked away in London’s Smithfield the dining room overlooks the historical Church of St Bartholomew the Great. We received our first Michelin Star in March 2023 and were awarded a Michelin Green Star in February 2024 - making us the only London restaurant to hold both awards.

Tues - Sat Dinner | Tasting Menu | £160pp
Tues - Sat Lunch | Short or Long Set Lunch | £70/£110pp

Restaurant St. Barts is the culmination of passion & hard work from three long-term friends Johnnie, Luke & Toby - the team behind NEST restaurant in Shoreditch. It is a celebration of British produce in the heart of historical London.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The attention to detail, the charming staff, the incredible wines - it was exceptional. And some of the most delicious bites - I will never forget the squid “noodles” with browned butter sauce. Truly a once in a lifetime experience.

The various dishes were creatively designed, each with their own flavours and were presented and explained in detail by knowledgeable waiters who also provided useful, informative help with wine selection.

The overall experience was good and food was amazing. I did mention in reservation that I don’t eat lamb and confirm again when I arrived. However the main course they still serve lamb. One of the staff came back few times to check if we finished the food and that feels a bit rush as we were just talking. Then I only had one bit of the lamb and my friend also left some fish on the plate. While my friend went to toilet the same waitress came to me again ask if we finished. Honestly, if you see the plate even though I was not eating that’s nothing like I finished ( I did only because I don’t eat lamb). Then she came back can clear everything not checking is everything all right since I left the whole plate of main course. Later she came and asked are you happy to get the bill instead of asking how’s food/experience. It’s a shame with such nice food and food concept, they should invest a bit more on staff training. I still recommend but hoping they can improve when I go next time.

Amazing. Memorable from start to finish and that dessert was incredible. Also really appreciated how thoughtful the selection of wine by the glass was.

Wonderful evening. Food was sublime and the service so friendly and attentive in all the right ways. Definitely a special treat at that price but the quality and complexity of the food, together with the performative presentation made it well worth the cost.

Business lunch menu is great value for 3 courses. Restaurant is beautifully designed and light and airy with the view of the church from the window. Food was innovative and delicious, would highly recommend.
