   Beautiful restaurant. We booked this for my 40th birthday meal and could not be happier. The staff were all so attentive, could not do enough for you and the food was outstanding. One of the best meals we have ever had. We then went into the bar after for drinks where there was a singer playing the piano. Such a lovely end to our evening. Thank you for making my birthday so special.

   Lovely restaurant with great terrace view over Venice Lovely food and very attentive friendly staff. Highly recommend for anniversay or any celebration 🍾

   There's no better view in Venezia. The service was super. But to be honest, my wife food was undercooked. Mine was ok.

   We dined in a number of much better restaurants whilst in Venice. It’s now an international restaurant catering mainly for US visitors and with a corresponding noise level. The food was not great. I am afraid the grand old lady is in decline.

   Nothing special on the menu, no one type of nice meat for example Tenderloin or Ribeye, no oysters no nice fish only cod. The pasta with Tuna was the very salty and they chopped the tuna by small pieces, very disappointed!

   in the very beautiful Danieli—a real Venetian palazzo—we had an amazing fish dish at the Terrazza. The service makes one feel like a celebrity, and recommended an excellent, memorable wine pairing. The fish, a whole baked turbot, was presented by the table where it was deftly filleted. The garnish of perfect potato slices and sun dried tomatoes was the perfect complement. They even brought a complimentary hors d’oeuvre of baccala mantecato and a couple of exquisite cookies with our coffee. Their special aged grappa completed the wonderful gourmet meal.

    Honestly it is a beautiful old hotel and the food was artistic. As a seasoned traveller, the cost is not in proportion to the food and the servers become quickly disinterested in you if your order doesn’t equal their expectations. I have eaten in top restaurants around the world and have the lifestyle to do so. I have never experienced being dismissed by a server before.
