Head Chef, David O'Byrne, has been running the kitchen since opening day, back in December 2015. Within two years he had earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand & has retained it every year since.
Owner/Manager Russell Wilde has been in the business for over 30 years, so he also has a fair idea of what he's doing.
And they both very much look forward to providing you with an enjoyable & memorable dining experience.

Richmond Restaurant - Portobello Dublin. Last night the team produced the best meal we've had so far in England and Ireland. (Travelling four nations in the Christmas period) Beautiful, confident, bold and complex, all in good measure. The restaurant has been in operation for about nine years and is a well oiled machine. If you're anywhere near Dublin then seek this place out.

Our visit was most enjoyable and Richmond scores highly on all counts; the Food, Service, and Ambiance were all excellent. The menu was inventive and presented some truly original options - the smoked cured trout was particularly good, as the rabbit starter. We will definitely return!

Food & menu deserved better description by waiting staff. Christmas pressures so probably better experience if not a December booking. Wine list very ordinary with zero guidance. Maitre d very poor but food very decent. It’s not a fine dining experience but the location already tells you that. Perfect for people who appreciate good food & dont care it’s not city centre & want to avoid city centre prices
