   Grilled Redfish with drawn butter was outstanding, as were the au gratin potatoes. Service by Cadence was outstanding. This restaurant is an icon in Tyler.

   We brought some friends who had never been to Rick's and they enjoyed it immensely. We love the ambiance and the food is always delicious. Each time my husband and I have come, our servers are great. We even had the opportunity on one visit to meet Rick, which was a hoot. Nice guy.

   Had a great time 2/14/2025 (Valentine's Day). This was our first time at Rick's. Our server was outstanding and I will ask for Kadence when we go back. We both had the small filet which was cooked prefect. So tender I could cut it with a fork. Also had the combo appetizer which was very good. I will try their seafood on our next visit.

   Had a reservation for 8pm and showed up early. Spoke to hostess about it and she said it was fine. Plenty of open tables but lady walked up as we were talking to hostess and told her we had to wait while we were talking. Food too forever, steak was overcooked and server never refilled our drinks. Very bad service. Definitely would never recommend or attend this place again.

   The food was okay-not super flavorful. They charge a 3% fee unless you pay in cash and they don’t accept Apple Pay. The waitress made the experience less enjoyable. She messed up the bill, gave incorrect information on the food that was being served, brought wheat tortillas to a gluten free guest and then blamed them for the misunderstanding. Nothing was done to remake the food , give a discount, or do anything else to remedy the situation.

   49th Anniversary dinner and everything was just right. Cocktails, appetizers and entrees were all perfect. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. We'll be back.

    I dined here last night with my boyfriend. Heath was our server and he was amazing! He was very personable and constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We had the crawfish beignets for an appetizer and they were awesome. The bread pudding was delicious and the drinks as well!
