T2D Concepts, the purpose-driven hospitality group led by chef Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley, has cooked up its latest concept, Radici Wood-Fired Grill. Meaning “roots” in Italian, Radici draws inspiration from Tiffany's early experiences in Italian restaurants, Tom's maternal heritage, and both Tiffany and Tom's travels through Italy. The menu changes based on seasonal availability and centers around meats and vegetables prepared in a wood-fired grill and a selection of fresh pastas made daily.

    Was expecting a little more from what had been told. Noise level is way high - hard to have conversations. they call it energetic. chicken was a little over cooked and tough. the sauce was very good. so been there done it not sure if would go back. price was about average service was very good.

    We had 6 in our group. We thoroughly enjoyed all of food and cocktails. We ordered most of the items and shared everything. It was so good! And we had great service. I’m looking forward to going again.

    First time at Brunch - it was great! We lived the French toast, avocado, and bacon. Drinks were superb as well. Will return!

    Food and service exceptional and prices reflected that. Not a great selection of craft beers so expect to drink cocktails or wine (lots of choices in bottles or by the glass). A bit loud in the dining room but we asked for a quiet seat and they gave us one on the side, out of the main fray. Only gripe was silverware - didn’t look particularly clean and they put it directly on the table instead of on a napkin (no tablecloths).

    Ok, but maybe it was going on Valentine's Day when things are pretty busy. Overall, the experience didn't measure up. It was decent value for the money, but we'll stick to Roots Southern Kitchen.

    My first visit to Radiciand won’t be my last. Pretty restaurant with lots of windows. Tables are kind of close to each other but not bad. Music can be a bit loud but I noticed when it was songs I didn’t like. 😂 Service was good. Our server was friendly and had good suggestions. Most drinks came out quickly and the food was nicely paced. Onto the food. Probably the best pasta I’ve had in DFW. The rigatoni all amatriciana was so good. Nice crispy pieces of guanciali and great spice. The lasagna bianca was lighter than it looks. A nice spring dish. The star for me was the shrimp scampi with focaccia. I needed more of the smoky crispy focaccia to sop up the delicious sauce/broth. The white beans in olive oil brought me back to having this dish all around Italy. Quite tasty! I was excited to see vin santo on the dessert menu. It was good but I would have liked some cantucci served with it. I don’t agree with the charge for using a credit card being added on. Seems petty when you’re charging $16 for an aperol spritz and $20 for a portion of pasta. The food and service are so good I’ll be back.
