At the center of the resort adjacent to the main pools with breathtaking views of Culebra Bay, Rio Bhongo offers the comforts of home infused with Costa Rican culture. Don't miss our expert barista and our extensive coffee program. Dinner offers a selection of grilled meats and fresh fish. The terrace provides a beautiful setting underneath a 40 year old Higueron tree, beautifully lit and magical at night. This restaurant is ideal for large parties or multiple families who wish to dine together.

Delicious juices and the catch of the day (mahi mahi) was excellent! Staff eas attentive and monkeys were entertaining.

The food and the hospitality were exceptional. They were so attentive and since it was our first evening, answered all of our questions about the other restaurants on the property and how the breakfast worked. A great way to start off our trip!

Underwhelmed, average food. Nachos served with liquid cheese sauce , did not seem like real cheese at all. Drinks were very slow to arrive. Portion size of fish meal very small.

All four of us enjoyed our meals. The steak was done just right and we would recommend to order with the veggies. The shrimp on both the smaller salads, made them very tasty. And finally the guacamole and chips were a good appetizer.

Beautiful place. Service was fine, but not what you would expect at this sort of place. Fish of the day was tasteless as was cauliflower dish. Guacamole was just ok. Grilled meat was very good. Just expected a bit more from a place with 4.9 stars.

We enjoyed this restaurant on the last night of our stay. The octopus ceviche is absolutely wonderful and our daughter really enjoyed the potato wedges. My husband got the fish of the day which was mahi mahi (so tasty!) and I LOVED the smoked trout salad. We had a great three person table overlooking the pool and ocean

We enjoyed Rio Bhongo for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on separate days. The food was freshly prepared and delicious for all our meals. However, one of the BEST parts of our dining experience was the warm and attentive service we received from Jostin. He made our visits a true delight!

Amazing ceviche! Must have. We also had the catch of the day which was pan fried mahi mahi and it was sooooo good. The only thing we wished was that they served a bit more of it. There was only 3 pieces or so of it. Beautiful views like you always get here.

There was a moth attack during dinner. Thousands of moths hatched and swarmed te dinner tables, kitchen, etc. The moths got in all food, drinks, on clothes, in hair, everywhere. We had to pack up what we had a take the food to go. Everything was still full price. Welcome to Costa Rica.
