At the center of the resort adjacent to the main pools with breathtaking views of Culebra Bay, Rio Bhongo offers the comforts of home infused with Costa Rican culture. Don't miss our expert barista and our extensive coffee program. Dinner offers a selection of grilled meats and fresh fish. The terrace provides a beautiful setting underneath a 40 year old Higueron tree, beautifully lit and magical at night. This restaurant is ideal for large parties or multiple families who wish to dine together.

    We had a fantastic dinner at Rio Bongho and couldn’t be more impressed! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. We opted for the pre-fix menu, and every course was absolutely delicious—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. What made the experience even more memorable was the exceptional service we received from our lovely waiter, Roy. He was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Roy made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of throughout the evening, which truly elevated the entire dining experience. If you’re looking for incredible food paired with top-notch service, Rio Bongho is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

    Pretty average all around - probably the worst restaurant at the Andaz. Kid food was blah. The waiter did not know the menu - didn't correct it when we asked for an ingredient to be excluded. Salads over dressed. The quality of the restaurant is surprising versus how high the hotel is rated.

    Beautiful view with a nice breeze. The spread for the breakfast buffet was amazing. Super friendly staff. There are moneys around in nearby trees waiting for scraps and they provided plenty of entertainment for the kids.

    We very much enjoyed our experience at Rio Bhongo Restaurant at the Andaz in Costa Rica. The food was great, the ambiance was wonderful to be outlooking the ocean and pool and the service was great. Thank you for a wonderful experince!

    We ate here multiple times in the past week and loved everything we had. Amy as our server for breakfast, Roy and Jorge our servers for dinner were all fabulous!

    We have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Every meal is delicious and drinks are outstanding. However, the staff is what makes it all - wonderful service! They all treat you like family!
