   I’ve been to the drag brunch at Rise a few times now, but this most recent one was hugely disappointing. My friends and I went to the Katy Perry drag brunch and it was very clear that no one really wanted to do a Katy brunch. While the queens were still fun (I do personally like them a lot) and made the time enjoyable, the only reason I was there for brunch was for the Katy Perry theme. Having been to previous themed brunches for other music artists it was a clear difference in the way this one was conducted compared to others. It would have been better to not have had a Katy themed brunch at all instead of forcing the queens and the staff to participate in something they so clearly didn’t really want to do in the first place. Also do just want to note, the servers and staff are all delightful and they do a great job, are attentive, and run the brunch very well. Aside from that, because I have attended this brunch in the past, I usually love the chicken that is served. Not sure why the type of chicken used in the orders was different, but it was no where near as good as it used to be. This time it was very flat and dry compared to how juicy and filling it used to be. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it felt like I was only eating the bun, lettuce, and tomato because the chicken was almost nonexistent and tasteless. The tater tots are always delicious though and saved the meal. All in all, was very disappointed by this event and honestly this experience doesn’t make me want to return for another drag brunch at Rise in the future.

   Food was delicious (chicken and waffles 🤤), service was fantastic (and handsome 🥵), and the entertainment was unforgettable. Best brunch I’ve ever had.

   Starting with the awesome - the staff!! From the waiter to the bartenders everyone was fun, friendly, and efficient. The food was good for what it was. The energy and space were great and the performance was off the hook!!! Interactive, fun, and memorable.

   Had an amazing time with a friend of mine. We went to the Taylor Swift brunch. This was my first time doing brunch here and it was an A+ experience. The waiters were great, the food was great, the bar tenders were very nice, and the entertainment was incredible. Will 100% do another brunch here especially if there are more Taylor shows.

   We had a great time celebrating my birthday! The drag performers were excellent! The food and wait staff were top notch.

   I’ve been to many drag shows and this is BY FAR the best one in NYC. The drag queens are hilarious and have the best performances including taking a list of songs from customers- the amazing DJ put them all together to have a long trade off performance to make sure everyone gets their song performed!! Also, BIG S/O to Venice for being a great server!!

   It may not be a Michelin star restaurant, but there should be a Michelin guide rated drag show! The food was OK, but the show was amazing and so were the people!!!

    It's one of the BEST drag brunches I have been to in the city. I went there for my birthday in September! The Queens were energetic, fun, and super funny! I would go there again and again!
