   We sat for a long time before a waiter ( I believe his name was Jay) noticed no one was assigned to our table and stepped up. The table side guacamole was great but there were a few order mishaps from the kitchen. Our server was excellent and made the corrections right away . Not our best experience this time around with the food but great server .

   The quality has definitely gone down since I want last year. This restaurant used to be my favorite place to go. Good food, reasonable prices, good drinks, good service. The food was ok. My tacos were cold and tasted like they had been sitting for a while. I felt ignored by our waitress. The restaurant was not full which I can now understand. It used to be a long wait to get a table. No more. I won't be going back any time soon.

   Extremely disappointed! I was recommended this restaurant and made reservations to visit, being from out of town this was a planned visit. The waitress (Barbie) was pushy on sales, Inturupted constantly, would barely give us time to sit or talk or browse menus before she hounded us for our order. We wanted a casual relaxed leisurely lunch and enjoy conversation. Instead we were rushed, annoyed, irritated, and pushed to quickly order. We were literally still eating main before a dessert menu was forced on us to order whilst still eating savoury. Please remember people Come to enjoy and savour their experience. Not to be rushed, or have the whole meal with waitress constantly interrupting and talking. Barbie was pleasant and jolly, but just too much!! Back off a little and don’t rush through service. Also didn’t appreciate her automatically adding 35% tip to bill, in which led awkward to decline. Lovely building and location. Drinks were great and food would have been good if not rushed. This was a slow quiet day so do not understand the need to hurry our service. We did leave 10% tip but would have been 50% if more enjoyable.

   We made a reservation well in advance. Wanted to sit outside. When we arrived, we were told by the girl at the front desk that it would be 30-45 minutes wait for outside. We told her several times there were tables open outside. Her response was...I have other people waiting for them. There was nobody else around waiting. We finally agreed to sit inside. As we ordered our food and drinks and ate our whole meal, those outside tables remained empty. In the hour that we were there, we sat inside and starred at the empty tables outside the whole meal. Totally unacceptable since we had a reservation. The girl could care less about trying to accommodate or satisfy a guest. Our server was great but the front desk staff was unhelpful and disinterested. The food was just ok and was definitely not a place we will be running back to since they could care less about the guest experience. Very disappointed! So many other great restaurants at Mercato that I will be happy to spend money at. Never again Rocco's Tacos!

   Loved the fun atmosphere, but the music inside was extremely loud. Easy fix, we sat outside with a nice view of the common area. Did a little people and car watching. Our server warned us of a wait for food, no problem. We ordered drinks and after a 20 minute wait, we had to remind him. When our food arrived, it was cold. Our server returned it to the kitchen. 10 minutes later we received our hot replacements. We ordered fish tacos with grilled fish. The tacos each had a tiny, thin strip of fish shaped in a perfect rectangle. It looked like it came out of a frozen dinner box. The toppings were sparse. The highlight of the meal was the guacamole made fresh at the table. It was outstanding! So many great restaurants that this probably won’t be a redo.

   Disappointed. I had requested a quiet table, and we were seated right next to a speaker with loud music. Service was good, food was fair. First Mexican restaurant where we were charged for chips. Drinks were very watered down. Perhaps the worst part was that two employees spent at least 30 minutes around our table counting or inventorying the liquor that was in cabinets behind us. They were on either side of our table, one using his phone to take pictures and make notes. This is not something to do during a busy time at the restaurant. We finally said something to our server and he apologized.

   All I have to say is make sure you stay by the hostess stand when they say your table will only be a minute, otherwise they’ll skip over you and seat everyone and their mother before you. Atmosphere is upbeat and fun, but the service needs a lot of improvement!

    Four guests. Four different meals and all excellent. Beverages mostly priced okay except $5 for a Diet Coke 🤔
