   Upon arrival, we was a little bit early. We asked if we could go ahead and be seated and was told no because they had two large parties coming and needed the room. We waited till our reservation time and when we walked in, there was at least eight tables empty. We could've been seated when we asked. The waiter was very nice, but our food was very slow getting out. It took so long that after we finished our appetizers, we asked for our food to be wrapped up to go because we had sat there so long. The place was not that busy. I don't know if they were shortstaffed or what, but a thin built bald man ,which I'm assuming was the manager, was running around and helping waiter staff deliver food and get drinks and so forth. With the tall ceilings The noise level was terrible. There was not that many people there, but you could hardly hear yourself. It was our one year anniversary dinner and I feel that the dinner was ruined. we will not be back, and I would not recommend this place to anybody.

   The food and service for dinner was very good at Rock House! Wonderful ambiance in the new Hocking Hills State Park Lodge. Surprisingly quiet even as the dining room was almost full. Enjoyed beautiful holiday decorations. Super helpful & friendly staff!

   Food we ordered was prepared properly and was tasty. Our biggest disappointment was the children's menu. The online menu stated they had PB&J which is one of the few things my granddaughter will eat. Unfortunately, the restaurant no longer has PB&J. We thought the price of menu options was a bit high too.

   Food was not very good. Service poor: wrong order, slow etc. Hardly anyone else there, still very slow. Ran out of a lot of items, dressings, limes. Great hotel, lousy restaurant.

   We were in town for a fall vacation and made dinner reservations for the lodge restaurant. It was wonderful! The food was great! Our server was attentive and friendly! Beautiful! Will definitely be back in the future when we are in the area.

    We ordered the pork chop agrodolce. The pork chops were overcooked and dry. The side of green beans along with the pork chops were warm but not hot when brought to our table. A glass of wine was $14 and was just okay nothing outstanding for that price. The staff and service was fine, but food was disappointing.
