Rogue Bros At The Boathouse - is dining seasonal, social and in our opinion with the best view in Scotland.

Brothers Mikey & James Sim focus on a social dining experience with seasonal plates, quality wines, beer and cocktails. With an ever changing 3 month menu we champion fresh and quality ingredients.

The restaurant has two distinct areas, our seafront - a relaxed spaced with a stunning view and the old boathouse - a beautiful traditional space. We can host tables of any size within what has been previously nicknamed "The best kept secret in South Queensferry".

Well it isn't a "secret" anymore.

Was really impressed with the food. Finally food with flavour! Amazing vegan options which are difficult to find. Will definitely return as the service was also fantastic and efficient.

First visit and excited to now be local knowing we can visit regularly. The setting is stunning, we loved our food choices from the January menu and looking forward to trying the ala carte menu next time. Service was excellent, it had a really relaxed vibe. We opted for the January fixed price menu which was great value and the drinks were reasonably priced too. Definitely recommend if you are local or visiting South Queensferry

Dinner out with my son. Real mix of other diners: couples, adult friends and families, all enjoying dinner, but nobody noisy. The menu is seafood oriented, which suited us perfectly. It is a tapas menu, with a couple of main meals for those that prefer. We had gochugang chicken, mussels to share, tiger prawns, clam spaghetti and sea bass tostada. The chicken was crispy and spicy. The mussels were superb. Tiger prawns will always be messy, but delicious. The pasta was subtle after the heat of the mussels and chicken. Sea bass was unusual served on veg and tostada, but very tasty. Would highly recommend.

There is an option for tapas style or main meal. The front of house took time to expain the menu and how it worked and we were made to feel very welcome throughout. I liked that the options were clearly marked as to suitable for gluten free , vegetarian and vegan diets. We had a table near the window so had an excellent view over the shore and the water. The choices were original and flavors were excellently balanced. We would have no hesitation recommending
