Ayurveda Inspired Cocktails - Taste or Rasa has a special significance in Ayurveda as it is not only an instrument that governs how we experience our food, but the overall flavor of our existence. According to ancient Ayurvedic wisdom, the six rasas, sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent and astringent help achieve a balance of body, mind and spirit. At ROOH we have created a menu featuring 9 distinctive new world cocktails that are inspired by these rasas. Food was good, nothing to make me want to rush back to the restaurant. In comparison to Another popular California-Indian restaurant in Palo Alto I was disappointed. Cocktails were good. Small portions for the cost.

They advertise a brunch menu on their website but don’t actually offer it. Vegetarian choices for the main course are limited. While some panneer dishes stand out, most others are ordinary and not worth the price

Rooh has been my favorite place since I first visited the Chicago location. It never lets me down! It’s the perfect spot for a family gathering, catching up with friends, or a romantic dinner. I love everything - the food, the cocktails, the atmosphere. Another thing I really appreciate is that the waitstaff is always the same, so whenever I come to Rooh, I know I’ll see them. Highly recommend this place!

Overall good food, great ambience but they really rushed us at the 9:30 reservation. Would recommend not having a 9:30 slot if the restaurant can’t even give an hour to someone eating dinner.

Did not meet our expectations based on the viewing on TV'S Check Please show that reviewed Rooh. The large plates we selected were disappointing in the amount of food except for the Butter Chicken. For the prices charged by Rooh we expected enough food to share, as we were told. I could go on, but I just won't be recommending Rooh to our friends for an exceptional dining experience.
