   LOVED our visit to Rooster's for brunch today. Sister was in town and staying at Southpark, so I needed a restaurant that was close. I am so happy that I chose Rooster's for our brunch. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. So nice to visit a restaurant that cares about service. From the extra cloth near the coffee pot to the filling up of water glasses, this place cares about good service. The frittata was so yummy and healthy with the salad. Sis got the eggs Benedict which were also so yummy! Would def order all again! Enjoy a lively restaurant with good food and extra good service!

   Been here before and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately this time around not as wonderful, our waitress was not the best at checking up on us. Drinks would go empty and somethings were forgotten. The most disappointing of all is our food was barely hot, the au gratin potatoes tasted like they’ve been sitting out for hours the cheese was hardened on top. Also got half a chicken and it was hard to get off the bone due to the fact it was barely warm. While the flavors are always there and ambiance is great, the food and service was a miss. Would be willing to give it a try again in the future considering this was one of my favorite spots.

   It was lunch and I ordered a salad. My guest ordered meatballs which looked delicious. Everything was perfect as usual.

   This has always been one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte. However, after dining last night, I won’t be back. The food was marginal…chicken was dry and salty and the pantries corn was cold. Our server was very slow. I was so sad to experience this.

   I am from New Orleans. If Roosters was there, it would be considered one of the three best restaurants in town. Fresh, simple and elegant. A great bar, to boot. You will not do better in Charlotte.

    This was a disappointing experience from start to finish. I had been there twice previously and it was fine but this time something was very different. First, the bathroom had absolutely no soap. This does not instill confidence for a sanitary experience. We were there mid afternoon and the restaurant was fairly empty yet it took a very long time for our food to be served. When my food finally did come to the table, it was burned on the outside and raw on the inside. Given the main course was obviously overdone on the outside, this entree should have never made it to the table. The rest of the experience continued in that manner. They were kind to remove my meal from the bill and even provided a free dessert. That being said, it really felt like they had an inexperienced staff working this day. Maybe it was just an off day. It happens.
