   Enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends, our waiter allowed us to take our time and talk, food was excellent. We will return.

   I would not recommend eating here. The service was slow. The food was average. Someone had the Drunknen sailor as a main meal - 3 small scallops floating in a cream sauce with no side or salad - robbery at $26! One guest had her meal burnt and had to be redone. The server/ chef left the second attempt on the counter delaying the dish being presented further. This resulted in her eating alone when everyone else had finished. It spoilt the birthday evening completely. When we complained the manager was rude arrogant and needs lessons in customer care. He offered us a measly $3 discount and stormed off saying that’s all you are getting. Avoid this place until they have a manager who cares for the customer!

   Our favorite date night restaurant! We brought friends from out of town for a late dinner and we were beyond thrilled. We never felt rushed to leave and enjoyed how knowledgeable our server was on all the menu items. The fried green tomatoes are always amazing and the pork chop was literal perfection!

   We went on Valentine’s Day. They had a special menu with only 4 meals. We went at 7pm and at that time they already ran out of two of the 4 entrees they had. My daughter asked for grilled cheese and they told us a while after ordering that they weren’t able to make that since they also ran out of that. I don’t think they prepared for one of the biggest ‘going out to dinner’ nights. We have always loved Root and Branch and now don’t care to ever go back. My husband said his $55 steak dinner was the worst steak he’s ever had. My dinner said one thing on the menu then I got totally different sides than it said on the menu. The waitress said they didn’t even carry what was on the menu so she said that was weird it said that. Overall not a good experience or dinner that we paid almost $200 for.

   The staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowd, even with a limited menu. The food had good taste, but was dry as if it had been prepared well in advance. The desserts did not taste freshly prepared and were not properly reheated. All in all it seemed like a very off night for the establishment. The staff was cordial and pleasant though, you could tell they were trying.

   Dined 2/14/25, main course of pork tenderloin and other was chicken breast. Pork was dry and ove rcooked and needed seasonings. No salt or pepper on table. Chicken had no flavor , stuffed with peppers. Check was $100. Dine else where!

    Excellent discovery. It was our first time and we will return again. A true quality scratch kitchen restaurant. Our server was fantastic, kind and professional. Thank you. We highly recommend.
