We went before a LIncoln Center performance. We have eaten here many times since the restaurant opened and the food never disappoints. It is among the best Mexican fusion restaurants I know. It very convenient to Lincoln Center and reasonably priced for the quality of the food and the neighborhood.

The food was good. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. But the management does not deserve high marks. We were offered the table right next to the serving traffic in a dark badly lit place. When we asked for a different available table, we were told it was reserved. Why our reservation for the earlier time was worse than this one nobody could explain. When we asked to see the manager, we were told that he was too busy to see us. When we pointed to another available table, we were told it was not ready. The only things that were missing from the table were plates. It took our waiter 1 minute to set the table. All it tells me that the management does not care equally about all the patrons. Very disappointing.

We had an excellent post opera dinner. The staff was very pleasant, efficient, and attentive. The could though good, could have been served a bit warmer.
