This brand new concept is founded in quality – there’s great food and of course, the coffee is exceptional – but the Rosso team want you to embrace your inner-barista and take ‘the group by the hand’ to lift your coffee game.

Book a time that suits you and be personally guided through our make-your-own-coffee bar.

If you are a beginner and are keen to learn the basics, or if you are a passionate coffee nerd and want to fine tune your coffee skills for your fancy home kit, our baristas will give you one-on-one instruction.

Check out our roastery at the back of the cafe, take some of our coffee beans home, stay for brunch and enjoy our seasonal menu by Chef Michael Bernerger Kevin.

    Multiple dates available
    Dive into the world of specialty coffee with our interactive cupping sessions. Open to the public and free Saturday once a month, they’re Perfect for coffee enthusiasts eager to refine their palate and learn about our sourcing and roasting process. You’ll sample a rotating menu of our current coffees and new samples, learning about cupping techniques and how we assess single-origin and specialty coffee.     The coffee was excellent, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. The sourdough was over-toasted, the brisket toastie was too dry, and the lobster roll lacked flavor—I could barely taste the lobster! The tuna was just as disappointing as the rye lobster roll. Additionally, the portion of chips served on the side was too small for a shared plate. Overall, we were quite disheartened by our first dining experience, especially since we had brought friends from out of state to enjoy the café.

    Attended the cupping seminar held by the head roaster, Jutt and it was one of my best coffee experiences ever! Amazed by how deep he knows about coffee beans, roasting process and cupping techniques and so on. Had a wonderful time trying out different specialty coffee beans with an interactive experience. Highly recommended for any coffee lovers!

    Amazing experience everytime. Coffee is next level, food is incredible with Felix, Jut and the team going out of their way to ensure everyone has a great experience. Cannot praise enough and by far the best cafe in Melbourne.

    Great coffee and yummy food. Super friendly staff, but our order took a long time getting to the table, hence only 4 stars. Admittedly, it was a full house being Fathers’ Day.

    The place is super friendly. Booking was easy and I rang on the day to change to an outdoor table and they were very accomodating. The menu had something for everyone and was very tasty. The coffee is superb . They take a lot of pride in what they do.
