   Great dinner at Rovino. Excellent focaccia and appies, pasta’s good as well. Eddie was a great server too! Enjoyed it.

   I used to frequent this place regularly but haven’t been in a while. Things have changed but the quality of the food was still top level. But what has changed appears to be new management or ownership and double the prices for half the portion and minus the table cloths. I don’t mind smaller, more normal sized portions but Cacio e Pepe for $40 is just extraordinary (fish of the day was $45). Music was too loud for such a quaint place and poor acoustics made loud tables even louder - we were having to shout across our 2-top table to hear each other other. Given the price, it might be a while before I return.

   La cena estuvo deliciosa, pedimos los calamares y camarones fritos como entrada y después una ensalada Rovino y una lasaña, todo muy rico.

   Has to ask for a waiter to serve us after waiting 20 minutes with only water. Food was mediocre at best.

    My wife & I ate here for our weekly date night. Ambience was fair - laminate tables were not in best condition, and chairs were not very comfortable. Music was too loud. Our server turned it down on request, and somebody turned it back up. Caprese included excellent burrata and meaty tomatoes, but also loads of pesto, olive oil and balsamic glaze. Certainly not the traditional Italian presentation. Pasta with sugo & eggplant was really good - cooked perfectly al dente, good sauce, and top-quality eggplant. Shrimp scampi again had perfect linguine and an excellent garlicky sauce, but unfortunately, the shrimp were barely cooked at all - I mean "rare minus" rather than the slightly-under-medium which is in style these days. We had two glasses of wine (Montepulciano and Super-Tuscan) which were excellent, and modestly priced. Service was friendly and attentive.
