   We tied two specialty cocktails and neither one was great. Some of the food was good (lobster noodles, blackened salmon & ribeye), some was lacking flavor (chicken piccata), and the service fell short during the entire meal. Our table wasn’t cleared between apps and our main, so our table of four was scrambling to hand off dishes to receive our entrees. The salmon came out much later than the other dishes. Waters weren’t refilled until I brought the service to the managers attention. I can tell the potential is there to provide good service because they had the various bus staff. The manager tried to make it right, but even after talking to him the service did not improve.

   The food was amazing but the service wasn’t there. My friends and I went to celebrate my birthday and our server brought out the birthday dessert and gave it to my friend and told her happy birthday when we all clearly stated it was my birthday and I even had a birthday sash on. My cousin had ordered a plate to go for her husband and instead of handing it to her he places it on the floor. Some of the other waitresses were rude when we were asking simple questions and just walked away. It’s a beautiful place and the food is amazing but like I said the services was not all that great.

   Loved the ambiance, food, and drink choices. We had calamari, poke tacos, tuna tataki & Brussel sprouts. All of the apps were tasty! We had wine, mocktails, and the golden geisha. For mains, we had the lobster noodles, tamale ravioli, and wings and waffles. All of our mains were big servings, great presentations, and tasted good. I'll be back!

   Service was excellent but food was just okay. Both the appetizer (calamari) and entree (chicken piccata) were drowning in sauce, making the dishes somewhat inedible. Calamari was also 80% tentacles.

    I recently celebrated my birthday at Ruby’s and Roses for lunch, after seeing photos online that made it look like the perfect place for a special gathering. My party of 10 and I drove over an hour, excited for what we thought would be an unforgettable experience. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were all left feeling underwhelmed. While the food and service were good—no complaints there—the ambiance and decor were nothing like what was advertised in the photos. The space looked much more outdated and mismatched in person. The lighting was dim, and the overall vibe just didn’t have the chic, trendy atmosphere we had been expecting from the pictures. It felt a bit more basic and less inviting than anticipated. It was disappointing, especially since we made a point to travel such a long distance for a special birthday lunch. While we still had a great time with friends, the atmosphere didn’t live up to what we had envisioned based on the online photos. If you're looking for good food and service, Ruby’s and Roses is fine, but if you're expecting the Instagram-worthy vibe seen online, be prepared for a letdown.
