Chef Ali Mesghali"s nearly lifelong love of cooking combined with his love for Sufism brought to life for the first time in Atlanta's culinary scene the concept of Rumi's Kitchen in 2005.
At Rumi's Kitchen, Ali has been able to artfully bring together an atmosphere full of joyous energy with attentive and generous Persian hospitality along with the unforgettable unique aromas and flavors of the Persian cuisine which is truly reflective of his simple intention to bring joy and happiness to the overall dining experience of the guests.     One of my favorites, if not my favorite, restaurant in Avalon. The food is delicious. Drinks are good. Wine selection is good and the ambience is great. You can sit inside or sit outside and enjoy a very nice dinner.

    The horrible music so loud that we could not carry conversation and had to leave. Very bad dining music and tables very close together. The noise level is very very high and unpleasant

    Always a good meal! We tried the lamb shank this time and it did not disappoint. Crowded as always and not much space to wait or cocktails but the bartenders are super tentative and make sure everyone was taken care of
