Chef Ali Mesghali’s love of cooking began while growing up in Esfahan, Iran and Los Angeles, California. This interest grew to become a passion and a career after Ali moved to Atlanta, Georgia. In the kitchen, as well as in the dining room, Ali is known for his pursuit of perfection, his intensity and a love for what he does.     Carlos was helpful and attentive … patient with us as we decided but came back to ensure we weren’t waiting too long. For what you’re getting the food is pricey but tasted good and service was wonderful. Would come back!

    Always a pleasure to eat at Rumi’s but they seem to charge for every little thing you ask for, toppings or sauce is always an extra charge, EHY????

    Miles was our server and he was AMAZING! Very attentive and accommodating to food allergies at the table. Food was great 10/10 will come to see him again!

    We celebrated our daughter’s 12th birthday early Saturday evening with six of her closest friends. I didn’t expect the place to be so packed at 5:30, but our server juggled us and his other tables so well. The food was fantastic as always and the girls had a great time on their downtown adventure. So many great memories made! Thanks Rumi’s!
