Russells on Macklind is a neighborhood restaurant that serves seasonal farm to table dinner and weekend brunch. We are well known for our extensive bakery offerings as well as a bar that features seasonal cocktails, local craft beers, and wine. Russells is located in a renovated 100 year old building at the corner of Murdoch and Macklind in the Southampton neighborhood of St. Louis. Everything was great, but they were out of a ton of things we tried to order like fries, sparking wine/mimosas , rose, etc.

Cocktails and food were great. Pot roast was tender and flavorful with the right amount of fat. Fresh made pasta and shrimp, a special, was excellent. Servers were knowledgeable and attentive. A very nice dinner.

We LOVE Russell's on Macklind. The food and drinks is always great and we always leave with multiple pieces of cake to-go. We got o Russell's every January to celebrate my birthday (because it is a bit of a drive for us to do it more often) and it never disappoints!

We waited over an hour for our food while other tables around us got their food. The server never apologized. It appeared he forgot our order. When we asked where our order was, he had to ask what we ordered and then brought wrong side. So disappointing since I brought 2 friends that had not been before and probably won’t go back.

The baked ricotta was so delicious! Beautiful ambience--great place for date night. We will definitely visit again.

Our server Clint was incredible. Made us feel very welcome!! Food was spectacular. Would highly recommend. Make sure to get dessert as it is fantastic and made in house!
