Russells on Macklind is a neighborhood restaurant that serves seasonal farm to table dinner and weekend brunch. Russells is located in a renovated 100 year old building at the corner of Murdoch and Macklind in the Southampton neighborhood of St. Louis. Bill was our server, he was great!. We took our neighbors that have never been but wanted to try it and they lived it. We all had a great time. Bill kept our drinks full and stomachs happy. The hostess was polite when seating us. The food runner was polite as well. Our neighbors want to go back when it's nicer weather to experience the patio. Definitely a new tradition for our group.

We all enjoyed the delicious food. The salad was large and well proportioned. We had the sea bass which is worth every penny, the pork chop was awesome and the pasta very flavorful. Needless to say the chocolate desserts were worth every calorie! Our service was excellent.

Excellent all the way around. Service was excellent the staff is friendly and very kind. While the food is great the people who work there are exceptional caring people.

It is a thrill to walk in and see their fabulous bakery cases. You can't forget what you just saw and it is on your mind as you order from Russell's interesting menu. Food was great, waiter was great and the carrot cake, claimed to be the best in St. Louis (correct) and an expresso chocolate cake where a wonderful end to the meal.
