   Been here for years and last night was my worst experience yet. For a New Year’s party it was quiet, could not even hear any music, service was terrible. Family would be served food and no utensils. No water and would have to ask your server multiple times for the same thing. Genuinely was extremely disappointed with yesterday’s cost and experience. At midnight everyone didn’t even know it was midnight and guests left right after since it was completely dead. I have never experienced such a bad dining situation. Let’s not mention they lacked a lot of sanitary training but not to go into detail, they need a lot of training and for an event like this they need extra staff as well as music or something to lighten up the mood. I will probably not be going back for another new years as paying the cost and taking the risk isn’t a cheap one.

   Had a lovely date with my girlfriend. Wish we could’ve sat outside, but it was still lovely. The cornbread was especially delicious

   Our waiter, Christian, was timely, patient and receptive. He explained the menu and cleaned our area promptly between orders. Very good representative of the restaurant.

   Dinning at the Rusty Pelican was enjoyable and the food was well-prepared. All the food came at the appropriate time with no much of a delay. The service was good and noted the staff was well trained. The views were spectacular and remarkable. The only complaint I have is the noise level of the music in the inside of the restaurant. It was excessive and very loud. I could not communicate with the waiter. When asked if it could be turned down, the waiter came back stating that this is the way the manage like it (sic) and it would not lower the volume. The music was more appropriate for a bar than a restaurant and made my party unconformable to dine. Along the subject of noise, A large group of people were raising a ruckus with screaming and yelling. Once again, the staff sis nothing to manage this. If I am paying good money for food and service, I expect to enjoy it in tranquility. The policy for this should be revisited and addressed. It was a wonderful place to enjoy the total atmosphere but without the distractions.

   My family and I went during brunch time to celebrate a birthday and despite being a large table we received very speedy, efficient, and great service from both Thomas & Darwin. Their food and drinks were delicious and the view is just spectacular. We are already planning our next visit real soon.

   Experience was perfect. The only issue was I put a birthday note in my reservation for my Mom’s 75th. The host at the front desk acknowledged that they saw it but no birthday anything at our table or during our experience. Other than that everything was great. Waitress was entertaining, food was great, view and ambience was perfect.

   Great food. It was a throughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The view of Miami was breathtaking. Our only suggestion would be having items on the menu that could be identified as gluten free. We had to send our waiter back and forth to the kitchen to understand our options. He was very patient and helpful. Some gluten free bread would also add a nice touch.
