   What is the point of making a reservation 4 months in advance, responding to a dozen texts confirming I’ll be there, then show up at 7 ( my reservation time) and be seated at 7:30?

   Understaffed for a busy night like Thanksgiving. Hostesses and servers seemed indifferent and inattentive

   Our reservation was at 5:15pm, but we were not called to be seated until 5:42pm. The staff seemed overwhelmed. My water was never refilled. The food was subpar, cafeteria-like. We appreciate the opportunity to eat out on thanksgiving but we will not be back.

   Note: we went on Thanksigiving day with a reservation. The holiday could have impacted the service we received. We were finally seated around 5:45 even with a 5:00 reservation. We hung out at the bar while we waited and each had a cocktail which were both delicious. The bartender was nice although she seemed interested in talking only with my wife and would actually talk over me if I were saying something. After being seated, it seemed like water and bread was brought out decently quickly but we were able to finish both before our waiter stopped by. Our waiter did apologize for the wait once he was finally able to come out and was extremely nice even though he was in a self proclaimed terrible mood and complained about the other staff. Our food was very slow to come out and it was delicious. I never got the espresso I ordered with my dessert but it also wasn’t in the bill so I just didn’t bother with the reminder.

   We enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday. Food was very good and they were able to accommodate my husband's lactose intolerance. Our server was very efficient and friendly. Definitely make reservations since the restaurant was very busy.

   Had the Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey tasted very processed. My daughter ordered a steak which took 3 tries to get it cooked correctly.

   I had thanksgiving dinner with my great nephew and his friend. His friend and I had steaks and my nephew had the Thanksgiving turkey dinner. It was quite ample. Our steaks were great as was my asparagus and sweet potato casserole. Our waiter, Davy, was first rate. He was very attentive despite being very busy with several big tables. Overall, I would return and recommend this Ruth Chris.
