We celebrated our 30th Anniversary here tonight and I was a little nervous given the recent negative reviews that maybe we should find somewhere else to celebrate but I'm glad we gave them a chance. We had a phenomenal experience. Everyone that attended to us from the moment we walked in were wonderful. We felt special the entire evening. I lost count how many people stopped by to wish us a Happy Anniversary, including the management. Our waitress Tina was AMAZING and so attentive. The cocktails were superb & food was exquisite. We had the seafood tower, the 24 oz t-bone & add on lobster tail, Brussels sprouts, garlic mashed potatoes & ended with creme brûlée. Divine!!! We will be back. Thank you Walnut Creek Ruth's Chris for making our 30th Anniversary a memorable one. Cheers! - The Lanzas

We love Ruth’s Chris. It is our go to for special occasions. Everything was great, but we did have to wait for one of the appetizers and they were out of Guinness. However our server was excellent.

Service VERY slow. Steaks very good. Very pricey. Not crowded, but for some reason, took them a long time to seat us, as they had to keep returning to the front desk to see what tables were available!!

This place used to have excellent service, but lately, I’ve found myself constantly having to ask for things that should be standard. Additionally, it seems like this particular location doesn’t enforce any kind of dress code. People show up with their pants halfway down and wearing just a t-shirt, which detracts from the overall atmosphere.

Steaks were overdone. Still good, but they weren’t medium rare. Potatoes were not really au gratin - they were cubes in a bit of sauce with melted cheese on top. Servers brought the wrong order twice. Server asked if we still wanted dessert that was part of prix fixe. Felt rushed.

We have been to this restaurant many times in the past and loved it. This evening the kitchen clearly struggled with multiple issues with our meals. Not worth nearly $500 for 4 people to eat!

Overall the meal was good, but not as good as it has been in the past. The plate the steak was on was too small making it hard to cut into the steak. The sides did not have a lot of flavor. I did not care for the cheesecake we had for dessert. It had sour cream on top and it just didn’t taste good. Did not take home any leftovers.

Everything about Ruth’s Chris is amazing! I have been here on many occasions and never have been disappointed! Our waitress was fantastic! The food was delicious hot and very tasty! I had the stuffed chicken and sweet potatoes casserole, my wife had the 8 oz filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes! The drinks were amazing too! To top it off the Manger stopped by and we had a very nice encounter! Definitely my favorite place in Walnut Creek!

Went there for our 4th Wedding anniversary. Alvaro our waiter was a gentleman and provided excellent service. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion.

We're typically blown away at Ruth's Chris, but for some reason we both agreed the tomahawk ribeye wasn't as tasty as usual. Maybe not the right amount of searing, maybe not aged.
