Rye lodge is a very pretty place and Rye looked amazing at this time of year. The tea was very nice. We enjoyed it.

Not special enough. The service was good but as we were the only ones in the room it lacked any atmosphere. The food was OK, but more attention to detail needed.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here as a birthday treat for my husband in a beautiful decorated room. Plenty of sandwiches, good size scone and a selection of cakes. Very impressed will be returning for my birthday.

The service was great , the lady was very friendly and attentive, but as for the afternoon tea, it was not homemade (apart from sandwiches) and not much of a selection of cakes etc for the price of £30 for 2 people.

The food was excellent, however, the restaurant is very small so it's quite easy to overhear other diners' conversations.

We visited Salts Resturant as a surprise for my partners 65th birthday , I rang in advanced and for a charge Salts arranged birthday helium balloons and a birthday cake , the staff made us very welcome put on a birthday music tape and sang happy birthday . The Resturant had a cosy feel to it . We didn't feel rushed to eat and throughly enjoyed our evening , compliments to the chef , the food and presentation was second to none , well done to all.

Amazing dining experience. The staff were friendly and the food was fantastic. We were visiting for an anniversary dinner and the chef and staff made it very special for us.

Great little restaurant. Excellent food, albeit quite a small menu so worth looking online first to check there is something you like. Risotto,Palma ham and lamb main we would highly recommend. 👍
