   Sat at the bar so we could see into the kitchen and watch them make all the food which I loved. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back! One thing was that the bar top was extremely high and the chairs were way too low so you felt like a little kid at the big kid table

   New Years Eve my wife and I chose to sit at the bar and had an outstanding experience. The bartenders cocktails were amazing and recommendations were wonderful.. food was outstanding service was outstanding and ambience was perfect. we will be back with a much larger group next time job well done.

   This was my first time at Sage and Salt. I ordered the salmon. It was very good. Our waiter was very professional. He checked on us frequently while not becoming annoying. I made reservations and were given choices for dining area and seating; however, the options offered no descriptions. My husband and I ended up on the smaller side. After being seated, we found out that there was a larger side that also includes a live band. We were unable to change our seating due to the large crowd as we were there on New Year Eve. The only small issue we had was that I included on our reservation that we were celebrating my husband’s birthday. It was not acknowledge until I overheard the waiter acknowledge and offer free dessert to a customer near us. I spoke up regarding my husband. He was then acknowledged and given free desert. I will return to Sage & Salt Bistro and request the larger dining area. We were comfortable in the smaller area; however I would love to experience dining in the other area with the live band. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   I needed to increase my party size on 24 hours notice and Brandon, the GM, went above and beyond to make our evening possible. Our server was fantastic with the perfect balance of pleasant attentiveness and flexible response. Sage and Salt is always pleasant and the food and people are always excellent. Thanks, guys.    Jaden was a fantastic server. He had personality, knowledge, and command. We had the leek soup, a wedge salad, and the tenderloin with Mac and cheese. We savored it all because it was delicious! This was not my first visit, and will not be my last!

   Really great food and atmosphere and service. Appreciated the unpretentious nature of it all. They just deliver quality, well, everything, without being stuck up about it.

   We were visiting Winston Salem and checked out Sage and Salt Bistro after reading reviews on Open Table. Our dinners were delicious (particularly the tuna tower, salmon and the lamb). We loved the quiet small aspect of the restaurant and will definitely come back when we are in town again. The Uber driver did have trouble finding the front of the restaurant (it is little confusing) and also there seem to be two different Sage and Salt restaurants - one is more of a large bar with food and music and the other located next door is the small restaurant.

    What an excellent meal! We had skewers (an interesting part of the menu), clams, wedge salad and the best lamb chops that I've had in sometime. Perfectly cooked!!!! A little light on of all things the roasted vegetable side but would go back for the same thing tomorrow. The restaurant has tight seating so call ahead and make sure you have a booth or if weather permits sit outside. Good wine pairings and very nice cocktails.
