This was my first visit to Sage & Salt, and I'll definitely be back. Noise and atmosphere: I went on a Tuesday evening, at 5:30pm, so keep that in mind as you read. It was easy to get in, and no issue choosing a table inside or outside. Also, the noise was pretty non-existent. Again, for both of these, keep in mind day and time. It's a smaller venue, and I have no reference for how the atmosphere changes on a weekend. Service: Our server was great. When she first came to the table she said, "You don't have to be in a rush," and I really appreciated that. So many restaurants make it seem like they are more interested in turning over tables, so this was a nice touch. The owner/manager came over to check on us, which I always appreciate. Food: the menu changes seasonally, so I won't go to much into details, as it might be different depending on the time of year you go. The drink menu is extensive. They have lots of signature cocktails, which looked interesting. The food menu will have something for everyone (chicken, fish, beef, etc.). They definitely live up to the "salt" part of their name, so be ready for that, especially if you aren't a heavy salt user, but otherwise the food was amazing! I will definitely go back. Great place for a nicer night out.

Food was amazing. Great service. We ordered the bread service and burrata for apps. Shared the potato leek soup which was amazing! And then had the scallops skewers and some sides. Everything was so good. Highly recommend

We enjoy the atmosphere and customer attentiveness of Ssge & Salt. They have a unique wine selection and the bartender creates and prepares fine cocktails. The menu is appetizing and the food is wonderfully prepared. Sage & Salt is a local treasure.

When making a reservation make sure your specific about seating choice. The restaurant had just opened and they placed us at a small 2 top right in the middle of the waiter circulation. 2nd, check your receipt, there's an admin surcharge they place on the bill, my guess for credit card usage. However, we paid cash and still the admin surcharge was not credited.

Wonderful food. Great wine list. A bit loud for my taste. But I would go back.

Terrible experience for our date night all the way around. We had finished our appetizer dish before our first drinks came out, and then we finished our main meal before any of our sides came out. Once the sides came out, my wife’s roasted root vegetables were still raw and crunchy. We were told that the poor timing of the food was due to them having two separate kitchens that operate independently and also they were behind because the owner was flying out of the country? Excuse after excuse with no real apology from the manager and was defensive the entire time. She reluctantly ended up comping our meal after going back and forth about the mishaps and failures. I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.

The atmosphere does not match the price. If I pay $200 for a meal, I don’t want a two top table sitting close enough to the person next to me so we can hear their conversation. Food was mediocre at best and the service was sub par. Will not return

First time here and when I made the reservation for the dining area, I had no idea we would be placed in “The Station” part of the restaurant that was cramped and loud. The jazz band playing in the dining area, although great sounding if I was at a concert, was not at all what I had envisioned in my dining experience. Despite pleas to be moved, I was not accommodated at all at either hostess station. My husband wanted to leave, and after my initial aggravation with staff and our seating arrangement, we discussed leaving or staying. After all, you must have great reviews for a reason so we decided to stay. However, we spent most of the time before our food arrived on our phones since it was too loud to talk to one another on our date night. We sat and listened to the young lady next to us holler across the table to her guest many lively stories but again, not at all what we envisioned for our dining experience. The server was apologetic, kind and attentive. The crab dip appetizer was outstanding. The cocktails were delicious. My ribeye was very tasty although cooked just a tad bit more than medium rare. My husband’s salmon was good. We left satisfied and wanted to try dessert but we were stuffed. You redeemed yourself with the food and our server but the initial service and seating upon arrival left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure if we’ll be back, but if so, we are well aware now what to ask for when requesting our reservation (something that really should be communicated to first timers!).

Had a wonderful dinner. Scallops with mushroom risotto was excellent. My husband enjoyed his filet. Our waiter was very attentive.
