   Rice was cold and dry. Shrimp were over cooked. Salman was under cooked. Caesar salad was under dressed and tiny. Had to ask for bread and water refill. First time at Sage a year ago it was fabulous but subsequent visits the food just gets worse and worse. The only positive note was a bountiful and properly prepared martini. Truly beach side on the space coast no longer has a good restaurant.

   Oh my this is not what we want to hear from our guests. We are sorry if your dish came out not as you expected. I'm thinking you got the complimentary salad which is smaller than a purchased salad. Please ask for more dressing next time if you think you need more. We would like to have you back and please ask for one of the owners. Hope to see you again.

   This is a great place to visit. I cannot rave enough about the chocolate martini the best I ever had. The food was outstanding.

   We had a wonderful dinner. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We had the crab small plate with Caprese salad, a Caesar salad and salmon entree. All were great. Shared the brownie for dessert.

   Really disappointing. We are locals and have gone to Sage many times as one of our favorite restaurants (let’s face it, there isn’t a great food scene on the Space coast…). However, last night was a totally different, disappointing experience. We took two friends there, and I was actually embarrassed we took them there after the food and service experience. Even with a reservation, it took them 15 minutes to seat us. Once seated, it took 30 minutes for our server to even take our drink orders. We didn’t get food until an hour after being seated. The food was the most disappointing part though. I got the chorizo crusted mahi-mahi, which was very dry. The dish was supposed to come with garlic mashed potatoes – it did not. As I was finishing my meal, I realized there were no garlic mashed potatoes, and I asked the server about it. She brought out a bowl of the worst garlic mashed potatoes I have ever had in my life – honestly, I did not know you could mess up mashed potatoes so badly. They were brown and soupy, there was no garlic; I took one bite and could not eat any more of it. My husband tried them as well and was shocked at how bad they were. My husband got the chicken parmesan and was also very disappointed. Same reaction from our friends with their dishes. The side salads were also disappointing. Sage used to have great side salads - last night they were tiny bowls with literally a couple leaves of lettuce, a thin slice of onion and dressing. I understand Sage is under new management, which may be resulting in what we saw last night. We were so disappointed with the food and service that we have decided not to return to Sage, which is unfortunate since they were our go to restaurant.

   The restaurant was busy (which is a good sign for great food and great service) and even if you have a reservation, you can still be asked to wait in order for us to be able to provide you the best service at the table. This is not a fast chain restaurant, you can't have it "your way" in less than 15 minutes. So yes, sometimes you have to enjoy the company you bring, while chefs prepare your food made from scratch. We have never had a complaint on the chick parm. The side salad that you mentioned is actually a complimentary salad, which is much different from a purchased side salad. If you came into Sage "so often" over the past 18 months, you would have already known it was a new restaurant which kept the Sage name. We agree with you that you are not the guests we want here anyway.

   Unfortunately the ownership change has brought down Sage Bistro. The overall experience was not good. It used to be our go to place for Holiday and special dinners. The service and quality of food has gone down. We waited a long time for over priced cocktails that were weak. We had to ask for bread. After finally getting our salads, we had to laugh at the size! I literally had three bites! We made a comment to the server and we were told they are complementary. Our dinners were good however that didn’t make up for the whole experience and cost of the evening . A side note the rebranding and decor do not match up with a high end dinner experience.

   Jennifer, as the "new owner" I wish you would have brought something to our attention. My husband and I are in the restaurant all the time. As far a cost goes, we are certainly comparable to all restaurants beachside. The decor certainly does match our branding which is NOT fine dining. We are inviting to ALL not just a select group of individuals who like to complain or bring negativity into our space. We are sorry you didn't like your experience but maybe good food, great service and a place that's fitting for all is not what you're looking for. We also have to laugh as a majority of guests just LOVE SAGE!!
