   We made a reservation for 6:00 pm. The restaurant was so busy that it was impossible to honor the reservation. To save time, we ended up eating outside. People seem to love the early bird special. It’s a great value ! The staff is well trained and very friendly.

   We arrived early for our reservation and were promptly seated. As a result, we were able to order from Early Bird menu, which is a very good deal, Excellent server. Hood good and plentiful.

   Pizza was good! Service was good. Restaurant is in disrepair. It hasn’t been painted in over 35 years. Its booths have never been reupholstered. You sink into them, and they bring a tower to hold the pizza. You can’t reach the pizza and can no longer see your dining companion. I’m a dining member and accrue points plus a birthday gift annually. They refused to allow me to use points or birthday gift for the special Monday night pizza. In fact, the didn’t take off for the salads and soft drinks either. The waitress asked the manager to come out to talk to me. He was all of 22 years old with a defensive, unrelenting attitude, trying to be a tough man over a silly rule he’s trying to enforce in a low end restaurant.

    I ordered Zuppa Del Pesce and it was much better than similar dishes I have ordered in much more upscale restaurants at nearly double the price. It was loaded with seafood, the sauce was perfect and the pasta was al dente. My dining partner had veal parm that could have fed a family of 4 and he gave it high grades. Our server, Nicole, treated us like old friends. The hostess managed a very large crowd so that no one felt ignored. It was terrific!
