   My husband and I came here for a long-awaited opportunity for a date night. The patio looked gorgeous, but as it was chilly and getting dark, we sat inside. It felt like a cheap diner- the choice of metal chairs or vinyl bench seats, and neon lights behind sheets of plastic for ambiance. We ordered our food- I have never asked how I wanted my salmon cooked before! I said "how would the chef recommend?", to which the response was "medium well". The food was excellent, save the salmon that was a bit dry (apparently I prefer my salmon a little bit more rare than "medium well"). I was expecting a higher quality experience, based on what was portrayed online. Natalie, our server was AMAZING though- attentive, funny, and was very busy, but kept making sure we were taken care of. She saved our evening.

   Server made inappropriate comments. Called me “young man” and he looks 20 years old. He was no where to be seen when I needed the check. I asked him to get me a box and he insisted on boxing my food for me.

   SALT offers a beautiful venue. Due to outstanding weather we were able to dine outside. Service at times was a bit slow but the staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. While we waited for our party to arrive we enjoyed drinks on the bar patio. The bartenders are awesome and mix excellent drinks. The food was outstanding. Most of our party ordered the chicken and French toast. So yummy! I enjoyed the salmon Benedict which was delicious and the eggs were perfectly done. I chose salad for my side and it was fresh and tasty.

   This place is spectacular when you can sit outside and enjoy the marina. The inside dining area is rather spartan. It is brightly lit and noisy with people moving in and out. The service is adequate and the food is well presented although the menu is rather limited. We will go back because we love the location and it is worth it to enjoy the marina setting.

   A scenic view next to the dock with friendly, attentive service. The food was fresh and delicious (crab cakes, lobster bisque, short rib, and iceberg wedge). Kitchen staff paid attention to details in both preparation and presentation. Drinks were refreshing (Mai Tai & Old Fashion). Looking forward to the next visit!

   We had a party of 7 and the food overall was horrible! Collectively we spent about $800 at this restaurant and I will never go back! Nothing was seasoned and very much so NOT worth the money we paid!

   We we recommended her by a friend. We were disappointed. Food was just ok for the price paid. My $98 Surf and Turf was overdone and the portions were small. My wife’s king crab was ok, but didn’t have the taste we expected. We came at night and it was very foggy so we missed the view.

    The setting is outstanding. A gorgeous view. My husband ordered chicken and waffles, I ordered steak & eggs. There was more sugar in my husband’s chicken & waffles than I have ever seen. There was powdered sugar and whipped cream on his chicken. The chicken wasn’t a normal piece of fried chicken but rather two chicken strips (no bones). I don’t think he ate more than half because he felt kind of ill. My food was okay. However, I was supposed to receive a petite filet with bernaise sauce, asparagus with hollandaise and breakfast potatoes. What I received was a small piece of hanger steak (not petite filet at all), no bernaise sauce, and about 5 very bulbous, round potatoes that were literally dropped in oil with the occasional piece of onion and pepper, scrambled eggs and asparagus with hollandaise. The potatoes were oily and boring.. the meat was not the correct cut. I paid $41 for a tiny piece of hanger steak instead of what the menu stated. However, what I received although incorrect was cooked properly and tasted fine. We also ordered the avocado hummus appetizer. While the warm pitas were lovely, it looked pretty mediocre. It also looked like someone simply dumped some pieces of crudite on a plate, and plopped a bunch of pita next to it (I could probably have done a better job).. there was no real flavor to the avocado hummus. Service was fine. Setting was gorgeous. But food was mediocre.
