   For the second night in a row (different on-property restaurant), an ordered side salad never came. Last night service was poor and the wait was over an hour for the entree (minus salad ahead of time or even accompanying). Tonight those were better but same thing: entrees appeared but no salad. We sent back the entrees and then got the salad but not as ordered. More sending back. More? Sure, how about the menu on THIS SITE being weeks out of date. Pay no attention to comments about, for instance, the lamb dish or mussels; neither is on the menu as it exists. That all ties to lack of management oversight as our server was very good otherwise. Davidson Hotels, who bought the property, has a large and varied hospitality list across the US. Perhaps they'll get to work on this because it's going to take some (work). And in the vein of "once shame on you, twice shame on us", we'll dine off-premises tomorrow and then try offered buffets for the rest of our stay nights where we can get our own salad or whatever. Also worth noting, neither night did anyone come over to discuss the omissions/problem much less even offer to buy dessert. We would have declined but that would be normal customer-focused service. Marriott doesn't care any more (CEO has said as much, that stockholders are all that matters) but I'd think the property ownership, Davidson, would.

   The chicken was dry, not very flavorful, the rice was also dry. The squid ink and seafood was good. Cindy, our server, was excellent.

   Our waitress, Myrtle was excellent. She and the chef worked to make sure my food issues were addressed. My grouper was delicious and prepared without any of the ingredients I have to avoid. Others in our group had the Cobb salad which was great, steak ( just ok) , and a pasta dish with scallops and prawns, which was excellent. Myrtle checked back on us regularly to refill drinks and made recommendations of things she thought we should try ( Johnny cakes). The manager came by twice to check that things were going well. Everyone was very pleasant and we look forward to eating there again on our next trip.

   What a wonderful experience! Food ,service and ambience all excellent. I recommend the cervuche and crab cake. They came with delicious plantain chips. You will not be dissappointed , Give Salt Shack a try.We wish our waitress a wonderful happy Birthday ,today is her birthday and she deserves it!

   Very pretty place but very dark. Had to ask for a light to see the menu. Food came out wrong and when got it back it was cold. Dessert was very good. Service was ok.

   Food, staff, music and view was absolutely wonderful! Recommend the calamari and going when the sun is about to set!

   This is a wonderful ocean front dining experience. The mahi fish was cooked perfectly. The jerk chicken and rice was also delicious. The price point excellent for the USVI. We saw the most beautiful sunset too.

   The ambiance at Salt Shack is off the charts! So beautiful right on the water at sunset! The food and service were good! We really enjoyed dinner once we made it. It’s quite the trek if you’re driving and not staying at Buoy Haus or the Westin so leave yourself extra time. But it’s so worth it!

   We were seated right away. But it took service about a half hour to come even acknowledge us! So we put in our drink orders and appetizers orders right away! Then it took another 45 minutes for appetizers and another half hour to get drinks! The place was not busy or crowded! The prices and presentation were not good at all! Plus she had a terrible attitude with us. Plus we had a coupon for a free dessert and charge us! The whole experience was not good at all! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!
