   Outstanding food and outstanding staff. Oysters were incredibly fresh. Had the red Thai fish curry which was absolutely sensational too

   Had the Newcastle restaurant week set menu. Delicious food and service. Particularly enjoyed the Thai red curry and Corbridge cure salmon

   We eat at Saltwater Fish Restaurant regularly and always enjoy the food. The service is excellent and we like the atmosphere. The food is normally also excellent which is why we keep returning. On this occasion we chose from a special offer menu - terrific value. The starters and puddings were excellent. My main course of sea bass fillets was also delicious but my husband chose the thai fish curry. We both cook and eat spicy food on occasions but this was far too hot and spicy - even with additional yoghurt to calm things down. We think there should have been some sort of warning about how hot this curry was and that it wasn't appropriate to include something so spicy on a special offer menu with only three main courses available. It would not stop us eating at Saltwater but we would definitely not choose any kind of curry option again.

   Excellent food, and great service by friendly staff at the restaurant this lunchtime. We were there to celebrate using our Christmas gift voucher as a treat during Restaurant Week. The fish was delicious, as was the rhubarb and ginger dessert . Amazing ambiance in the city centre location, great value for money using only the best ingredients . Lovely experience all round!

   The restaurant depicts class. The service is excellent and the food is superb. Love that estate the counter and can see the open kitchen.

   We have been wanting to try this place for a while. I am a lover of seafood and found this place to be fantastic. From the moment we were shown to our seats to paying the bill, the staff were really attentive and the food was amazing. The starters (both specials) were presented well and tasted beautiful they did not disappoint. I had a seafood mixed grill and for me this was a novelty, a meat mixed grill would never be something I would ever order due to not being a big meat fan but this was fantastic. Plenty seafood and mixed choices all tasting amazing. Too full for dessert but will definitely be back to try more of the delicious food in the great atmosphere.

    The hot platter (with cold oysters) goes so well with samphire and a bottle of the riesling. Enjoy people watching and fine company.
