   Not sure what happened today but the overall experience was lacking. Seemed the server was overbooked with tables. No acknowledgment or water at the table for 15-20 minutes. We were almost 2hrs into our time there and salads were served, before the last salad was placed at the table our entrees came out.

   I made a reservation for two earlier in the day. Arrivesd on time and waited ten minutes at the host stand. Other were eating in the dining area but a hostess never emerged. I was summoned to a table by a diner who explained that they had no hostess, were short staffed and to seat myself. I thanked him and walked back to the host stand. A few minutes later I was approached by a bartender named Chance. He asked me how I was. I told him that he'd have to tell me because I'd been waiting to be seated nearly fifteen minutes after my reservation time (no one else came in behind me during that period) and that when I'd eaten there two years previously my wife and I'd been made late for a theater performance because our server had forgotten to enter our order when they were also short staffed. I wanted steak, this location was equal distance between my home and my friends home and I was giving them a second chance. Chance seated me and my friend and took exemplary care of us despite the staff shortages. He was the only one working a daily busy bar, with some food runner help. He was calm, polite, patient, well informed on spirits and beer, and made sure we had an enjoyable meal. Had we had another server we might not have had the same experience.

   El mesero que me toco no me quiso atender por que no hablo inglés y lo note en la forma en que cambió su cara cuando cuando tuvimos el primer contacto, de inmediato se fue y mandó a otro mesero sin decirme nada. El otro mesero no tuvo atenciones hacia mi. Nunca me habia sentido tan olvidado en un restaurante y debo mencionar que frecuento mejores restaurantes que este.

   We were not pleased with the food or the presentation. My steak was thin, over cooked and fatty. Tough the chew. It was our first time dining here and we definitely won’t be back. Highly disappointed.

   The food truck didn't show up. Minimal menu options, wait for drinks for 40 minutes and food wasn't great. Second time giving it a try.

   Great service as always! The nice manager here is so great. His staff is so respectful to him and you can see from that it’s a nice place to work. I admire that! The food was amazing and the service too!!! Live coming here for Christmas! It was our second year to join ❤️

   We were prompted to write a review for Saltgrass based on Christmas Day. It is unfortunate that 12/25 is their heaviest reservation usage of the year. They had a tough day on Christmas and instead of venting about waiting over an hour for our food, we chose to offer an overall view of Saltgrass. We both usually find this to be a pleasant, relatively efficient steak house. Their steaks are not the best in town, but they are far from the worst. My last ribeye was the best I have had this year - anywhere. Unfortunately my wife’s steak at this time was returned for over-cooking. To present a medium rare order anything over medium is a big error. The servers work hard to please. So when you read a lot of negative reviews, check to see if their visit was on Christmas.

   We had a wonderful Christmas with my mother and my mother-in-law and our two children at Saltgrass Steakhouse. The staff was very attentive and friendly. From the appetizers to the entrees we were all very pleased!The food was perfectly seasoned, with the most tender steak you can imagine. Everything came out hot and prepared exactly as ordered. We had struggled to find our holiday spirit after losing my father-in-law just a few weeks ago. However, we were able to find joy amongst such wonderful people and are very pleased that we were able to share our holiday at Saltgrass. We will definitely be returning!

    Has reservations for Christmas at 2:30. Arrived at 2:20 with place full of people and was told I have an hour wait or more. They ruined our Christmas dinner cause we had somewhere to be at 4. Stay away from this rude place
