    We will only be offering this menu on 25/12. Please note our cancellation policy here has been upgraded to 3 days notice for cancellations, or charged at the menu price per person. We will be offering a 4 course set menu of 5 starters, 5 mains and 3 desserts to choose from. You will be welcomed with a glass of Cava and our Focaccia & whipped truffle butter on arrival, with Cheese served with desserts. Up to 6 people can be booked online where there is live availability.     We arrived 20 mins late, having called to let them know. Greeting was courteous and welcoming, coats were taken and we were shown to our window table that had been requested. Beef tartar and mackerel to start followed by cod and confit duck with a cheese board to share, all washed down with a perfectly chilled Pouilly fume. Great care taken was with the cooking and presentation of the dishes ensuring that the flavours and textures were excellent (my personal highlight were the messels with the cod.....wow!). Service was polite and attentive without being overbearing. Will definitely return when we are in that area again.

    Salute is wonderful. Whilst Essex Rd is not particularly picturesque, the restaurant has a cosy vibe with dimmed light and warm interior. Although I do like the open kitchen concept, being vegetarian I found the occasional smell of fish unpleasant. The space is small but beautifully intimate although the tables feel a bit crammed together at first. Having said that, you can comfortably have a good conversation without interference from the neighbouring tables. Most importantly, the food is divine and service impeccable. Vegetarian dishes were top notch - seasonal, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Good wine and reasonably priced. Our waiter was attentive and made sure not to interrupt the conversation. Great find, highly recommended for a long casual date or a catch up with friends and family.

    This was our first visit to Salut! and we had the best evening. The restaurant is small in size, but perfectly laid out. Because of its size the Kitchen is on show, which in our eyes was a bonus. It is quite something to be able to see the food being prepared as you really feel like you are part of something special. This is an intimate and extremely friendly place and the food outstanding - we will definitely be back!

    This was my 2nd visit. Truly impressed with every aspect so we treated a friend for her birthday. We were a table of 4 and we all loved the food, drinks and personal service. We done to all at salut. We WILL be returning soon.
