When we were growing up, we shared a passion for simple, honest food. In 1996 Mike acted on this passion and opened the first Sammy J’s in Langley City. Steve joined later in 2010. After almost 20 years in the business our food and restaurants continue to evolve but our values remain the same: we’re just regular guys who believe in putting the heart and soul back into the restaurant business. We serve great food using fresh, local ingredients and make sure every bite bursts with flavor.

Great energy at Sammy J’s. Great spot for after bowling snacks and drinks but this time, the quality of food was 50/50 for the 4 of us. Cauliflower bites was tasty. Steak bites were tough but had good flavour but chicken in jambalaya was bad. He said it tasted like sawdust. My husband was too nice to say anything but he couldn’t eat it. Server didn’t notice it was barely touched to asked if everything was ok. Unfortunately, don’t think we’ll be back any time soon.

We had a great time. The server was very nice and knew her stuff. She was attentive to her guests. The food was delicious! Had a few appetizers and some mains. It was great! Worth going ☺️

Hi. Was there with my wife. They sat us at a table literally right beside another table of two. Had to shuffle our table and chairs over so we had any privacy. The service was ok. The major thing was the noise which was like being at a hockey or football stadium. Talking was difficult. I realize that's kind of how restraunts are set up now but it's not for us. We enjoyed happy pricing and both price and quality of food was good. Not for us but probably appealing to the younger crowd.

Service was excellent but the music was to loud for conversation with our foursome group. Not very romantic music for a Valentine’s Day dinner. ❤️🌹

This is a great spot to enjoy a meal. We love the Happy Hour. The food and the service is always good. The dining room is always quiet and it can fit large groups.
