    Our first time dining at Samuel Slater’s My husband & I were both very happy with our service, and the food was excellent. We will definitely go back soon!

    Samuel Slater's can't decide what it is... high end food, but way-too-casual atmosphere. Diners wearing flannel and shorts. Even the waitstaff is in jeans and tshirts. But the meals are not meatloaf and mashed potatoes. And they are more expensive. The food is very good. And I can look past all that except for one thing: the noise level in the restaurant is deafening! You can't have a conversation because you have to yell across the table to be heard. The waitress has to yell so you can hear her. She told me that it is like that all the time. Does NOT make for a comfortable or enjoyable meal. Sam, please look into sound deadening panels, or ANYTHING that can dull the roar!!!

    SLATER'S is a great place to eat! The staff is always friendly and I have never had a bad meal.
