Santa Fe is a warm and welcoming family friendly Mexican restaurant & bar located in the middle of the Merimbula CBD with incredible views over Merimbula Lake through to Bar Beach. We offer a high level of service in a casual atmosphere.
The beautiful vistas are visible from all of our three dining areas front open air deck and our rear covered deck.
Our menu includes a broad range of Mexican food favourites. We also feature excellent cocktails, wines and Mexican and local beers as well to make it a complete experience.
Located on the first floor of The Plaza. Access from Beach Street via stairs or use the lift next to Dwyers Real Estate.
Your hosts Peter and Jodie Dunnage are well known locally for their fabulous service and attention to the diners experience. We are proud to be the Travellers Choice for Mexican on the South Coast through Australian Good Food Guide.

Nice staff, nice food. It was busy, but we didn’t wait too long and staff were honest about the fact we’d wait a little bit. We were hairy with it all.

Service was questionable, too many wait staff coming to ask us if we’d ordered then no one knew if we’d ordered. Kids meal came out wrong then waited 20 minutes for a take away box which cost $1.00. Food was a bit tasteless and cocktails tasted pre made. Not great!

Lovely food, great ambience and awesome staff!! Wish we knew the kitchen closed by 8 pm would have ordered food earlier to complete our meal!

Enjoyed a great birthday celebration for our family of four. The staff were great and took this on board. A good range of dishes on offer. Plenty of variety and enjoyed some of the cocktails on offer. A great view of the lake only added to the experience.

Service was impeccable! The waitresses and one in particular were admirable and lovely!! Food was delicious with an amazing dessert menu to follow! Will definitely be coming back here soon ☺️
