First time at Santa Maria and all 4 of us really enjoyed it. We only did tapas and ceviche, but every single item was very tasty and presented well. They also were very generous portions and came out very quickly. One of our party of 4 is vegan and there were a few options for her also - not many, but enough.

I had reservations for two that I had made earlier in the week. We got there ahead of our 6:30 reservation and were seated next to the bar. Right off the bat I was annoyed being there were empty seats in the restaurant. I was told it’s all they had. I found the appetizer of baby back ribs to be very small although they were very good. My wife’s potatoes were very cool and her drink – a $14 margarita had way too much ice in it. When I asked for her next drink to have less ice, the glass was 2/3 full. I found the prices to be very expensive. Two drinks each with our dinner and it was $183.

They sat us at a table that I would never place for my customers in my restaurant. It was next to the door to the kitchen so you are constantly blasted with noise and florescent lights everytime the door swung open. Food was just ok. Definitely not memorable as everything was completely under seasoned. The food came out in pieces. Again something I never allow in my restaurant. People go out to dinner to eat together not to watch others eat while waiting for their food. Obviously not well organized or planned. Service was not good. I had to stand up and look for people to get us things like silverware, salt since everything was bland and water. Would I go back? Probably not. Eclipse de luna at Halcyon is a much better choice for great food service and ambiance.

Was super shocked at the sticker price of the menu. Too high for this area. When restaurants in Atlanta and inside the perimeter offer better food, more reasonable tapas pricing. I don’t know how this restaurant will thrive w menu pricing. I consider myself a foodie and am very knowledgeable when it comes to atmospheric pricing. This place is a 2/10. I give it a year or two at most, and this place will be closed. Food is subpar- fair to middling maybe. Better food and pricing at an Eclipse and Barcelona Wine Bar.

This was our first time there, we waited a long time to get seated at our table, once we got there, food took too long to arrive, temperature outside where we were seated got a bit chilly so we requested a heater, they had two and they were not available cause they had no gas. Food was a bit greasy, on some items like chips, and yuca fries. Service was super bad!
