The food and service was good. One can tell the pasta is made fresh in house. The waitress was very helpful in helping us pick a wine and introduced us to Italian wines we have never tasted before. The restaurant is very small and quaint and could be perfect for date night on a quieter night. Keep in mind this is a very popular restaurant and usually packed. We went on a Sunday because we couldn’t get on Saturday. The restaurant also has a small market where one can pick up Italian goodies from it shelves.

I don’t want to give a bad review to this place because I think it has great potential we unfortunately sat outside literally on the street sidewalk the restaurant does have a nice landing for the patio, but I guess too small for serving so we had people walking by us constantly Because it’s a busy area with their dog cigarettes, etc. being outside you do expect that however what we were really looking forward to was the dining experience the owner was our server. He was very charming and funny. I ordered their Campanada with Guan Charlie. The Charlie was way undercooked not giving it that bacon taste that it’s so famous for so it was like eating little rubber bands with my pasta. The sauce was very good however it could have been better. My husband ordered the lobster and shrimp raviolis. There was not a drop of sauce on the raviolis only on the inside when you cut it open it was definitely missing something. Our friend ordered their lasagna with their Bolognese. He liked it very much We ordered a Baratta salad that came with arugula and tomatoes. No dressing on the salad we had to do that ourselves and we ordered a pizza that was probably the best out of everything. The food was cold because by the time they got it to us outside, it was barely warm. So overall, I will give it a three but I know they could do a five if they just put a little more effort we were ignored most of the night, but not on purpose just because they were busy. We will go again, but we will eat indoors I did tell the owner The service sucked in a fun way And he apologized. He said he had a very demanding Table on the inside and he was running around like crazy so again we will try one more time. I think it’s worth the chance.

Homemade pasta. Gluten free options (boiled in a separate pot). That is important as it is different than an unrelated review but also because they volunteered it before I asked. I requested Arrabiata which they didn't offer but made it for me. Extraordinary. Highly recommended

The service and food quality at Sapido is fantastic! We frequent this restaurant and it never fails to amaze. The staff is always welcoming and genuine. They always make the occasion feel special regardless of the day or time. The food quality is always 10/10 here and for Fort Lauderdale the prices here are very fair. Looking forward to our next meal there. 10/10 would recommend!
