    Comfortably one of the best dining experiences i’ve had in Calgary. Hats off to the team behind this place, as I doubt better japanese cuisine exists in the city. Would absolutely love to be back here in the future.

    Fantastic omakase! Chef May May is the perfect guide for an eye opening meal. Each beautifully plated dish was prepared in front of us, all with thorough explanations. The fish was incredible as were the complimentary dishes. The sake pairing offered a range of sakes, paired precisely with the food being served. The space is intimate and laid back. We will absolutely be back, both for weeknight small bites and for bigger celebrations.

    This was such an incredible experience. Food was clean house made sauces really left you feeling well and healthy. Service just beautiful. Would definitely return and highly recommended

    Absolutely wonderful from the moment we were seated. The dinner menu offered a nice variety. From the grilled octopus to our wagyu rolls everything was fresh and delicious!

    We enjoyed everything and every minute of our experience with Chef May, her partner and the Satsuki staff. Chef May’s creations were delicious, beautiful and creative. We highly recommend the Omakase experience. Michelin please come and give Chef May some stars! She deserves it!

    I recently dined at Satsuki and had an exceptional experience. I ordered the Wagyu Gyoza, Beef Tataki with Ponzu Sauce, the Satsuki Roll, and the Sakekasu Miso Sablefish Risotto. The standout dishes were the Wagyu Gyoza and the Sakekasu Risotto. What truly set this dining experience apart was the owners' personal touch. They came over to chat, sharing the inspiring story behind the restaurant and their dedication to crafting everything in-house. Their passion and hospitality made the meal feel even more special. If you're looking for outstanding food paired with warm, genuine service, Satsuki is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
