   This pub has a new menu since I was last there. I did enjoy the new menu, in particular their 50/50 burger was very good.

   We attended Sawmill Creek's "Breakfast With Santa" brunch on Sat. 14 Dec 2024, in Colwood BC. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were surprised that there were no more people at the restaurant for the event. Our meal was fantastic and the service was exceptional. Wait staff were friendly and our conversation with them elevated our dining experience - even the manager/owner stopped by for a quick chat and we shared some holiday greetings. A definite "must do" event, if you are in the Victoria BC/Colwood BC area for the holidays.

   Great pizza. Very slow service and not particularly oriented towards making my son’s birthday special even though we notified them in advance

   Great food! First time going since the change in ownership. Food didn’t disappoint, but with only a few tables occupied the service was incredibly slow. The food made up for it though.

   Very nice ambiance and absolutely great service. Really good beer selection as well. We would recommend for drinks for sure. Unfortunately the food was not something we will be rushing back for. Good burger but dry, hard shoestring fries that turned cold pretty quick, and soggy pizza that you had to fold like a tight taco to eat if you wanted the toppings to stay on (in?) it. This was a 2nd attempt for us as the first visit was soon after they first opened and we just figured there were some kinks to work out. We did not see others eating there so can't really be sure what else might have looked good/popular. Will be back, but probably for drinks and maybe an appy.

    Slow service and cold eggs Benedict. It was mother's day brunch but the place was almost empty.
