   Classic Italian food done expertly with great charm and enthusiasm. A very popular choice for those in the know. Fresh high quality ingredients are noticeable and service is swift and confident. One is not interrupted with constant questions about how good the food is (unlike other places) as they know their cooking is first rate.

   We booked at the last minute. We have always enjoyed the restaurant’s ambience and food. Today, we were disappointed, the lights were so bright that it gave me a headache, the restaurant was very noisy and busy which did not equate to a relaxing late lunch. The waiters we preoccupied and it took a while to order, our starter came fairly quickly but our main course took ages to arrive. The food was nice but definitely not as good as the past times we have been. It was definitely a different experience from before. We agreed that we would not really go back again as there are better restaurants locally. The restaurant is also dated and really needs to be updated.
