Scarpetta’s name is derived from the familial gesture “Fare la Scarpetta!” an Italian expression that describes the gesture of taking the little boot-shaped piece of bread to soak of the remaining sauce left in the pot of one’s home kitchen. We represent the indulgent pleasure of savoring a meal down to its very last taste! The ambiance can be described as lightly understated. With an elegant approach to design all while simultaneously creating a chic, inviting, and inspiring environment. We have one of the best viewpoints at the Cosmopolitan that overlooks the Las Vegas strip, facing towards the Bellagio fountains. The fountains paired with our sultry mood lighting and smooth Italian classic music in the background, we foster an undeniably, effortless and romantic dining experience.

                                                                                                        We had a months long reservation to celebrate our 39th anniversary which was noted by the restaurant. We had a table along a wall opposite a column. No view of anything other than where the servers put in their orders. Really disappointing. The food and service were good. But overall not what we were hoping for.

From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of. The service was truly exceptional—our waiter David was outstanding, and the rest of the team was just as impressive. Everyone was friendly, engaging, and genuinely interested in having a conversation with us.                                                                                                         Thank you for making my 40th wedding anniversary special! We were seated at a table with a beautiful view by the window overlooking the Bellagio fountain. My husband had the Branzino dish which is his favorite! I had your Sea Scallops. The best sea scallops I’ve ever had!!! Both dishes were amazingly delicious and beautifully prepared! To top off the wonderful evening, we ordered your tiramisu. The gelato was a perfect addition to the dessert! Service was excellent! We can’t wait to go back!!!

                                                                                                        We had gone on line to research the menu. The reason for going was to order chicken Parmesan or chicken piccata. They on line menu said it was offered. When we arrived at the restaurant and were seated with promptness. Friendly but not overly welcoming. Nothing like our previous two nights at the cosmopolitan restaurants. Water was brought then fresh bread wine. As we we proceeded to look at the menu I realized my two reasons for going were NOT in the menu. When I questioned the waiter he was NOT one bit apologetic. His excuse was the menu was done up in New York. So basically too bad so sad. Won’t ever be back.
