Delicious food bursting with flavour in a beautifully designed restaurant and al fresco landscaped courtyard garden area. Our menu includes a combination of creative and hearty dishes, including vegetarian friendly options, prepared with fresh locally sourced ingredients. Wood fired oven and BBQs are a new feature over the summer - with pizza to take away.

We have a bar inside and outside in the courtyard for pre and post meal drinks, serving local spirits, house cocktails and locally brewed beers.

Disorganised service, Luke warm food and no cutlery to provide before. Unprofessional service. Great place but nothing is worth to pay for. Salty food and chewy meat, and cheap decoration from Waitrose

Long wait to order drinks, long wait for the drinks to arrive and an even longer wait to order food. Some of the staff were pleasant but the senior management were very rude. If you are sitting outside be prepared to be forgotten about. Overrated.

Food great, service great, loved the decor and building, easy parking. I had a mind-blowingly delicious gin vermouth cocktail. When we arrived the dining room was almost empty so we chose the bay window table so we could watch the Christmas play in the grounds; another party arrived and were put next to us, which I didn't really mind - but they were not 2 metres away from us, and all the other tables were free. The music was very off-putting - early 80's pop hits - surely something/anything would be more suitable for such a sophisticated dining experience, not sure who they are aiming to appeal to - a load of grannies who go to Butlins?

I can’t write enough positive things about our experience the other night. Fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, brilliant live jazz being played, friendly service. And all felt very safe. We had a brilliant time and will definitely be back soon.
