   I always love going to scout. The servers are just the right amount of attentive, it’s really comfortable, and the food is always delicious!

   Food was pretty good. Service was not so good. flustered, even on a low key Sunday night with not that many tables full. Our server almost gave us the wrong appetizers. He forgot our drinks and then brought us the wrong ones. He was nice and apologetic, but it seem like everyone around us was having issues with service too. Someone who appeared to be a manager came up and gave us a half assed apology.

   The food was good both nothing to write home about. Server was fine, but took a very long time to get served entrees due, we were told, to a "problem in the kitchen" related, apparently, to our request to split 4 entrees between 4 people for sharing. Everyone enjoyed their dinners but I ordered the beet salad with arugula and salmon. $30 was pricey especially given that I had to really search for any beets! It was mostly arugula in way too much oil. The salmon was fine but no better than we would grill at home. Celebrated two birthdays and one will oftentimes receive a comped desert-but nope, not even with the delayed entrees. I had heard great things about this restaurant but am in no hurry to go back.

   Scout was a wonderful brunch experience! Our food was DELICIOUS! I wish I knew how to make a grit cake. The Etouffe is some of the best ever had. We got blood Mary’s and they too were very tasty. Our server Carter was beyond exceptional! This is definitely a return wish maybe for dinner.

   I chose Scout for brunch to celebrate me and my fiance 's recent engagement with our friends. When we booked, the restaurant was straightforward about the fact that they couldn't guarantee us an outside table, and I appreciated this transparency. We didn't end up getting our outdoor table, but since we knew this was a possibility it wasn't a surprise. Parking was easy in the little lot behind the restaurant. We had a group of 10 and I was worried that they wouldn't be able to start seating us until everyone had arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised when they said we could go ahead to our table and let the other guests trickle in. They also let us split the check 6 ways! The food and service were both wonderful. Everything on the brunch menu looked great - I got the corned beef hash and it was delicious. The serving was big enough that I had leftovers, and even the leftovers were great! The fried cauliflower appetizer was fried to perfection and the meat and cheese board was also a win. My partner's burger was incredible, and so was the bite of chicken and waffles that I tried. The wait staff were very attentive, and even turned on the AC for us when requested. And the overall vibe was great. I'l definitely be recommending this place to friends and coming back myself. tldr: Amazing brunch menu; easy parking; friendly, attentive, and accommodating staff'; overall pleasant vibe and great experience.

   Quality of the food was top-notch. We started with the peppadews and deviled eggs - spot on flavors, the peppers were are favorite! We had the chicken and stuffed salmon - both cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were luscious, the grit cake was rich AND light (I don’t know how you did both simultaneously!). The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Service was quick but not rushed, including drinks from the bar which were delicious. Thanks for a great dinner, we will be back! 💕

    This was my second visit to Scout, and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere; it felt like visiting a friend. I would definitely return. The farmer's frittata was excellent, and the service was friendly and punctual. The service was friendly and well-timed.
