   Beautiful, some really delicious cocktails, food was overall pretty good but a couple of dishes could have wowed me a little more for the price (Sea Bass was amazing, and so was the wonton dip! Bruschetta could be better, sliders good but a little overpriced). Ambiance is absolutely beautiful, my only feedback on that would be that some of your plants are right on top of where people are sitting - makes it feel a little crowded. Love it here though!!

   The waitress did a pretty good job. She should have better knowledge of the wines by glass listed on the menu. That’s not really her fault. As far as the food, my salmon was overcooked and dry. The guest I was with had the Short Ribs and Gnocchi. The gnocchi seemed a bit tough for gnocchi. It’s too bad because I had heard good things about this restaurant.

   This was our first time trying Scratch. It was great experience all around. Delicious cocktails and small plates, and amazing entrees that were just the right portions. Service was excellent! Will definitely go back!

   The food and service was excellent. I’ve had dates as an appetizer and then pappardelle for me and salmon for my husband. Rum cake and coffee finished off the meal. Everything was absolutely delicious. This is a very small, noisy restaurant. We were seated across from the front door which was constantly being opened by either dinner guests or servers going to deliver food to the outside diners. Each time there was a blast of cold air. My husband had to wear his coat the whole time. I loved the food but I hated the crowding, noise and cold so this is not a place I would return to.

   The food was AMAZING. My husband said the steak was the best he'd ever had. The quality of the steak was phenomenal. The brussel sprouts were fabulous as was the shrimp and crab dip.

   The food was fresh, creative, and delicious, and the service was excellent: friendly and professional, but not intrusive. The special bruschetta was tasty, and the sesame crusted salmon was superb. We also appreciated the sophisticated ambiance and muted noise level. The music provided a nice background but was no too loud, so it allowed conversation—a rarity in today’s mostly noisy restaurants. I plan to return next time I’m in Prairie Village or Kansas City.

   Perfect setting for an intimate dinner. Beautiful presentation of delicious salmon, chilean sea bass as well as steak, and lovely craft cocktails! We were so happy to finally have had the opportunity to eat at Scratch :)

    The is a wonderful family-owned restuarant. It is the heart of the fine dining area of Prairie Village and Northeast Johnson County, Kansas. Scratch Gourmet Kitchen will not disappoint you for quality food and drink with great service and plenty of free parking just outside the door. It is in demand, so advance reservations are advised.
